White Stork this evening found by Farmer just off Skellingthorpe Road, Lincoln.
Flew off towards bypass just before dark.

Picture in Album taken in rain and bad light.

The White Stork, unringed adult, was on a freshly cut hay field with 3 Grey Herons, just to the NE of Fen plantation at SK 946 705. It flew off to the NW, in the gloom at 21:24.
Many thanks to the farmers, Bob & David Scarborough for putting the news out.

I went to the reported White Stork site at 11.00 this morning - without success. Apparently there had been no sign of the bird "since 09.30".
