How about this-was walking back down the hide track to go home after birding at Freiston this evening; bumped into Phil and had a quick chat which i finished with " i'm just off to the ramp to get a red-backed shrike". Well plopped my scope down on the ramp, looked through it and there in the middle of my scope in a tree was a red-backed shrike-unbelievable.
