I've just had a report from Andy Sims of a Raven flying N over Gedney.

Although not seen subsequently over the SW Wash reserves on the day Andy had it, I saw presumably the same bird yesterday, Saturday 14th June, perched in roadside trees near the Sutterton roundabout. It was being dive-bombed by 2 Carrion Crows at around 09.30h. Don't know if its been visiting the nearby Burger King, or picking up roadkill !

Apologies, details slightly less than clear - thats on the south side of the Sutterton roundabout, at the junction of the A16 & A17

The raven that appeared to fly seaward off Gib on 3rd April seemed to be holding one of its feet down most of the time - maybe it was carrying something or maybe it had an injury - would be interesting to hear if this ties in with any other raven reports.

Cheers

Kev
