Visited for an hour and a half this morning
highlights

Buzzard 1
Hobby 1 had a few passes at the lapwing but not seriously. More serious attempt at a LRP but gave up in the end
Lapwing at least 66
Ringed Plover 3-4
Little Ringed Plover 4-5
Oystercatcher 2 with chicks
Shoveler
Sand Martin many
Little Grebe 1
Mallard
Tufted Duck

I have several flocks of lapwings already this summer - I guess they must be failed/non-breeding birds?

I recall reading somewhere that Lapwings from as far afield as Gemany can be arriving in the UK by late June.
