10 07 08 whilst surveying on the saltmarsh 1345 to 1530 hrs 3 flocks of young sand martins south c 200 in total and 7 whimbrel in off sea, also 1 spotted redshank and 3 greenshank. John. |

There was also some Sand Martin movement through Covenham Res last night with 100+ moving south between 18.00 - 20.30 also there were: 1 Egyptian Goose 3 Whimbrel through 6 Common Sand 11 Great Creasted Grebe 47 Tufted Duck (unusually high number for July) 1 Barn Owl 8 Yellow Wagtail regards Chris |

About 70 sand martins and 40 house martins went thru south at Huttoft pit between 0730 and 0900 friday. John. |
