Glad to see things picking up a bit - today produced: Gannet - 30+ feeding party offshore Sandwich Tern - 510 on beach plus many offshore Arctic Tern - 7 Common Tern - 50+ Arctic Skua - 8+ with offshore feeding flock Kittiwake - 8 on beach Little Gull -5 Whimbrel - 1 Montagues Harrier - 1f salt marsh ( per Dave Wright) Jackson's Marsh: Scaup - 1m Marsh harrier - 1 Spotted Redshank - 1ad Greenshank - 2 Ruff - 1 Little Gull - 2 Black-tailed Godwit - 23 Little ringed Plover - 1 Little Egret - 11 Plus Avocets, Redshanks, Common Terns and Sandwich Terns Roseate Tern - 1 on beach yesterday and 2 with Sandwich Terns this evening on beach both ringed ( per Dave Wright ) |

Cracking weekend at Gib, Not much to add to the above list, except reeling Grasshopper Warbler at the base of Mill Hill on Sat 12th at dusk Andrew |

That Grasshopper Wbl has been most reliable all spring! There was less about today: Arctic Skua - 8+ Gannet - odd ones only Sandwich Terns - 200+ on beach also Little and Common Whimbrel - 7 Spotted Redshank - 1ad Black-tailed Godwit - 32 Icelandics in good plumage Montagues Harrier - 2 ( 2y female which has been regular for 10 days and is moulting and another female ) Scaup - 2 1y drakes It was good to see so many birders about today - does anybody have anything to add. cheers Edmund |

Did a seawatch at Theddlethorpe beach, 1500 to 1620 hrs thru the high neap tide, 6 sandwich terns 3 harrased by 1 arctic skua 3 knot south 1 gannet south and thats about it!! John. |
