whilst walking thru churchill lane car park 2100 hrs 21 07 a redstart species
juv of rather dark plumage dissapeared into the bushes, possibly a black redstart , either species is unusual at this time of year here. John.

a juvenile black redstart was photographed at bucks beck cleethorpes about 10 days ago but i do not know whom clicked the shutter,

A (very) juvenile redstart was at Gib yesterday and two juvs were trapped and ringed here this morning. Wood sand and curlew sand about today. Also, still daily sightings of crossbill.
