Other birds worthy of a mention are:

Mistle Thrush - 1 pair
Green Woodpecker - 1
Meadow Pipit - 1
Yellowhammer - 7

Not sure if I saw you having never met you before. During my time there also in afternoon saw a young couple in the vicinity of where the GGS was seen, an old guy with a beard plus a grey haired guy with a butterfly net. The two latter chaps I spoke to as they came past me.

Evening John,

Wasn't me u saw. I was with an old guy with a beard (sorry Tone! :D ) but I didnt have a butterfly net and havent gone grey....yet -though i am going thin on top and the inevitable baldness seems to edging closer & closer! :wink:
