Highlights from the morning high tide. On the lagoon unless stated; Curlew sandpiper - 18 (all adults in varying states of summer plumage) Little stint - 1 (adult) Common sandpiper - 12 Dunlin - 3000 Knot - 1000 Redshank - 400 Avocet - 4 Little egret - 4 Hobby - 1 (wetland) Scaup - 1 Barnacle goose - 1 (reservoir) Gannet - 5 ('sea') Cheers, John & Paul F |
