Sent in by - Stephen Blades ----------------------------------------- Adult seen 5:30 this afternoon in Heapham (4 miles east of Gainsborough). First sighted the trio of birds about 1/4 mile away and as I opened the window I could hear Buzzards calling. Grabbed my binoculars and immediately realised that one had a white patch at the base of its tail and was certainly not a buzzard. It separated from the other two, one of which I had very good views of, and it alighted on a dead branch in an ash tree at the bottom of the garden, giving excellent views for a minute or so, before flying off downwind to the north east.
