today about four oclock on my back hedge in louth four in total looks like two aduits two small ones . how many does the normal aff puting some food out to see if the come back |

At this time of year it is quite difficult to distinguish adults from first year birds in the field as they both undergo a complete moult. They flock up in the autumn into large feeding groups - 10+ is not unusual. They have recently started visiting peanut feeders so that could be worth a try, John. |
