I have recieved this report from Jim Parsons
------------------------------

A Wryneck at Welton-le Marsh

'A Wryneck on the roadside grass verge outside the church when we were getting back into the car after visiting the graveyard. It took no notice of me or the car until I tried to photograph. Not sure how rare or unreported this might be but thought it worth reporting. I have not found one this easily before but am not local.'

Date of first Sighting: '10/9/08 16:00'

Missed a garden tick as my garden borders the church and I was working in the garden most of the day!!! Needless to say I've taken my finest 'toothcomb' to the churchyard but have not found the bird.
