Cracking views of an Osprey hunting and successfully catching a fish on Ness Lake. i saw it come in off the Humber and heading towards Ness Lake, I was on the Humber Bank so ran as fast as I could to Reedy Hide in time to see it hunting, it caught a fish right in front of Ness hide (where I had been an hour before!!). It then flew off again towards the Humber, I couldnt relocate it.

Im buzzing, I had walked from S Ferriby to Chowder to Far Ings (over 2 hours) and seen nothing apart from 2 Buzzard :) . I was feeling a little despondent, when the Osprey appeared and made my day!!!

Pics to follow

Also at Far Ings, 1 Sparrowhawk terrorising a sparrow, didnt catch it!
