Three Honey Buzzards today, one flew in-off the sea at 0855 cirlced over the main ridge and headed off south, with two more flying south at 0945. Also today 5 Sparrowhawks and a Marsh Harrier south along with 470 Mipits, a Tree Pipit, 43 Skylarks, 5 Siskins and 7 Grey Herons. A Redstart also flew south along the ridge and continued on southwards across the saltmarsh. Yesterday a few migrants in the bushes including a Pied Flycatcher, Redstart, Garden and Reed Warblers, two Whinchats and also a Short-eared Owl and a Spotted Redshank. James |
