Beleived to be a Danish ring scheme bird from detail on metal ring, I have submitted details for clarification.

the bird was still present this afternoon, on the boating lake and adjacent grassland (apart from a brief wander to the car park across the road, after some sensible person dumped their Big Mac on the floor). Pics may appear in the Photo Album if I can work out how such things happen.

Good to see you on the forum Ian. If you haven't already got one you will need to email Andy Chick for a password to the photo album. He will also send you details of how to upload photos.

Hi folks

just had a reply about the ring number, allthough they have sent me details of 35T1 and not 35L1 they probably came from the same location. I have pointed out the mistake.

Anyway it looks like it may have been rung in Belgium or still may be Denmark as first thought.
From 2008 White rings starting with 3 or E are from Belgium

Denmark : White ring, no country code yet.
Country code "3" (Belgium) is currently used.
