A walk across my local patch this morning:- Little Grebe - 1 on mere Pink-footed Goose - 52 flew over W at 11:25 Mallard - several feeding on acorns which have fallen into the water Grey Partridge - 4 on ploughed field Kingfisher - 1 at mere Sky Lark - 3 flew over S Grey Wagtail - 1 flew over E calling Just after I left the hide Paul Pulletz had a Little Egret fly low over the mere, mobbed by B-h Gulls. It did not appear to land and despite searching I could not relocate it. |
