A few birds moving through on Saturday with 426 Pink-feet, 180 Lapwing, 2 Sparrowhawks, 358 Goldfinch and 34 Skylarks. Grounded migrants included 65 Blackbirds, 40 Redwing and a single Fieldfare. On Sunday a ringtail Hen Harrier went south along with 15 Whooper Swans. There were also 174 Goldfinch, 3 Sparrowhawks, 43 Skylarks, 67 Pink-feet, 9 Brents and a Short-eared owl. James |
