Eventually connected with the Cleethorpes Mediterranean Gull yesterday afternoon and it showed extremely well - coming to bread. An attempt at seeing it last week yielded a total of about 60 seconds of the bird in over 1.5 hours on site so it can be elusive.
A walk from Humberston Yacht Club to Tetney Marshes produced 6 Whooper Swans flying south.
Little Egret numbers were well into double figures. A Short-eared Owl was also seen - but not by us.
