Pleasant if windy few hours at Far Ings produced: 2 Bearded Tit 4 Bullfinch (2m2f) Lots Redwing/Fieldfare over 6 GC Grebe 2 Little Grebe 1 Bittern 2 Kingfisher 4 Snipe 1 Sparrowhawk Chowder Ness: c30 Wigeon c12 Black Tail Godwit Lots RInged Plover, Lapwing, Dunlin,Curlew Shelduck, BH Gulls and a few Knot c100 Golden Plover Mick joined me at 5pm and we headed off for a hour at Worlaby Carrs before going out for tea: 1 SEO 2 Barn Owl 1 Sparrowhawk 1 Kestrel 1 Stonechat (male) 3 Mute Swan Lots Fieldfare 1 L. Grebe 4 Meadow Pipit Mandy |
