LIFER: In pines near north car park, 4 CROSSBILLS. Saw female and brief glimpse of male. That's Lifer number 163!
ON THE BEACH: Herring Gull (loads), Brent Goose, Little Egret, Turnstone, Redshank, Grey Plover, Golden Plover, Sanderling, Oystercatcher.
SEEN FROM THE HIDES: Redshank, Lapwing, Black-tailed Godwit, Snipe, Circa 100 Teal, Moorhen, Coot, Mallard, Tufted Duck, Shoveler, Shelduck, Mute Swan, Sanderling, Little Grebe, Little Egret,
SEEN ON WALK ROUND: Sparrowhawk, Black-headed Gull, Herring Gull, Common Gull, Magpie, Rook, Carrion Crow, Jackdaw, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Goldcrest, Fieldfare, Blackbird, Starling, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, House Sparrow, Robin, Woodpigeon, Collared Dove.
