Male Smew on hotel pit today. I had literally been there 5 mins (11.30am) and it showed briefly in the channel opposite Hotel Pit hide, it then hitched up with 2 male Goldeneye over near the hotel. Still there when I left at 3.45pm.

Also:
2 Sparrowhawk
1 Kestrel
4 GC Grebe
4 Little Grebe
4 Goldfinch
4 Bullfinch 2m2f
12 L Tit
usual Blue and Great Tit
2 Grey Heron
4 Goldcrest
Lots Redwing/Fieldfare
