26 flew south over Witham Mouth on Sunday, also 3 over Frampton Marsh. Also on Sunday at Witham Mouth unless stated; Long-tailed duck - 2 Scaup - 2 Red kite - Freiston Shore reported at 2pm Marsh harrier - 1 juv Hen harrier - 1 juv Peregrine - 1 ad. f European white-fronted goose - Family party of 6 at Frampton Marsh (first reserve record!) - thanks Phil Hyde! No sign of any of the (up to) 12 shags there John |
