A v pleasant day with a good scattering of birds, notably thrushes/robins in the dunes and finches moving south overhead.

The highlights were;

Great northern diver offshore - per John Shaughnessy
Hawfinch flew south early on per David Wright

and a yellow-browed warbler calling outside the office at Sykes Farm, later showed well up the track. Four chiffchaffs around here too.
