Post subject:  Hen Harrier-Worlaby 14.11.08
Good view of male Hen Harrier at Worlaby Carrs this evening. Seen in flight, then it perched(thanks to the 3 birders who kindly let us view it through their scope!.)
Saw quite a lot despite a large shooting party there.

6 Marsh Harrier
2 Sparrowhawk
2 Kestrel
2 Common Buzzard
2 Barn Owl
Large Flocks of Fieldfare and Redwing
1 Yellowhammer
2 Snipe
2 Curlew
1 Woodcock
3 Stonechat (2m1f)
3 Reed Bunting (1m2f)
10 Mute Swan
1 Grey Heron
c100 BH Gull

I also had a couple of hours at Waters Edge this morning:

1 Pied Wagtail
