What a day!! At last managed to get out to the coast, Mick hasnt had day off for nearly 3 weeks so today was the first chance to get out there. Was there for first light.
Awesome magical hour with the Steppe Shrike at Grainthorpe
What a bird Also at Grainthorpe great view of Ringtail Harrier and fleeting glimspe of Lapland Bunting as well as a dozen Little Egret.
Also caught up with the Glaucous Gull at Donna Nook. No sign of Desert Wheatear at Saltfleet, but did have nice view of a Sparrowhawk enjoying a bath in a small puddle
En route had total of 5 Barn Owl and 11 Kestrel
