Just had a trip to Johnson's Garden Centre to stock up on bird food and to visit my gran.
A few observations:
Coot - circa 20 on drains at various places
Moorhen - 10 on drains at various places
Lapwing - large flock on field adjacent to West Fen Drain Bank, off Willows Lane
Possible Barn Owl - hunting over Stonebridge Drain
Mistle Thrush - 2 in bushes close to Willows Lane signal box
Fieldfare - 3 in same bushes.
Sparrowhawk - 1 over Sleaford Road near Asda.
Starling - large flocks heading to roosting sites
Cormorant - 2 over house on return
