Miserable afternoon with poor light made somewhat better by

3 possibly 4 barn owls
2 kestrels
1 little owl
c40 goldfinch
c40 fieldfare
pied wagtail
84 mute swan at first glance I thought bewicks, whoopers but not one - just mute
pheasant
red legged partridge
grey heron
carrion crow
blackbird

As I mentioned to you at Nocton Fen this afternoon, the only birds we can add to your comprehensive list are :

Marsh Harrier - 1
Lapwing - one flock c800

1 SEO seen twice 14:50pm & 15:10pm near Pit entrance
1 Peregrine Falcon on Beet Factory Chimney
2 Barn Owls
1000+ Lapwing in 2-3 groups

reported by other birders:
1 Hen Harrier Male
1 SEO towards Wasps nest
1 Common Buzzard
150+ Greylag Geese
