Post subject:  goldcrest

found in my garden for three days know two goldcrests fly about is this time of year for ? i got some photos but they are quick in the garden for five to ten mins gone do they nest in the bushs or where.idonot know . can some one tell me . john lusby

John,
Goldcrests can be found throughout the year in a variety of habitats including gardens and there numbers are boosted in autumn by a large influx from the continent. There preferred nesting habitat is coniferous woodland. Hope that helps.
