TIME: 14:45 - 15:30
WEATHER: Freezing.
COMPANY: Dad the telescope caddy

SPECIES SEEN:

Peregrine - 1 (possibly) hassling the lagoon birds at one point

Lapwing - 400
Redshank - 5
Curlew - 2
Golden Plover - few on wetlands
Oystercatcher - 6

Brent Goose - perhaps as many as 2000
Wigeon - 150
Shelduck - 20
Black-headed Gull - surpsingly few. 20
Greater Black-backed Gull - 1

Goldfinch - 20
Robin - 3
Blackbird - 5
Blue Tit - 1
Great Tit 4
House Sparrow - 10
Mistle Thrush - 1
Starling - few small flocks
Pied Wagtail - 2

Magpie - 3, one of which was perched on a sheep's head!!!!
Jackdaw - 2
Pheasant - 8 in fields nearby
Usual Collared Doves and Woodpigeons

Possible Little Egret on shoreline but difficult to tell through mist.
