After my trip to Far Ings I decided to go to Nocton Fen 14:30 -16:20 Everybody and their dogs were there 60 species seen today at the two sites Highlights were Barn Owl (up to 6 but certainly 3) Bewick Swan 5 Mute Swan 88 Long Tailed Duck 1 Buzzard 1 Scaup 1 Golden Plover c60 Fieldfare No sign of SEO, Little Owl or the Peregrines with Peter Green |

Is anyone willing to show me round Nocton Fen? I may need a lift from Metheringham station or other place well-served by public transport and am STILL unable to carry my scope! |
