En-route to the coast-4 Barn Owl(1 Ludborough,1 Grainthorpe,2 North Somercotes) 1 Marsh Harrier,over fields near Ludborough. 2 Little Egret,feeding in a drainage ditch along the main road in Grainthorpe. Stonebridge - Pye's Hall 15 Little Egret 125 Cormorant 1 juv. male Peregrine 2 Merlin 3 Common Scoter(South). 35+ Red-throated Diver(Including a flock of 15 birds). 1 Greenshank(In Somercotes Haven) 450+ Brent Geese 2 Lapland Bunting(In stubble at Pye's Hall). 1 juv. Great Skua(Observed out near the seal colony,feeding on a seal carcass). 1 Woodcock(Stonebridge). Regards Steve,with Dave Wright. |
