Spent about 6 hours at a cold but mainly sunny Worlaby
Highlights

Hen Harrier 1 female
Marsh Harrier 1 male 1 female
Merlin 1
Kestrel about 4
Buzzard at least 6. 3 in a field together the other side of the river
Stonechat 1 pair by the river
Curlew 11
Redshank 1
Whooper Swan 2
Golden Plover
Snipe
Deer 4 (what sort I don't know) - perhaps someone can tell me if they are common in the area

Also seen but not by me
Rough Legged Buzzard between 9 and 10 this morning

Probably Roe Deer, there is usually a few about.

The deer you have seen are Roe Deer Chris,there is usually a small group somewhere on the Carrs,and they are always nice to see.

Thanks Max and Steve.
Its the first time I have seen them. They were were in a field behind the long wood to the left of the car park (looking towards the railway line) The field was a big open space which was birdless during my fifteen minute observation
