Last time I went, I saw Great Crested Grebes, Ravens and one Blackbird. How on earth did I miss all those? Whereabouts in the grounds is the best spot for birds?

This isn't in the grounds of the house, it east of the main house grid reference SK943388 ( see http://www.multimap.com/maps/?qs=SK9433 ... tryCode=GB) park in the small carpark and walk up the hill to Belmont Tower.

If I'd seen Green Woodpecker and Marsh Tit, my list would be 170....
