A seven mile walk on the North Lincolnshire Wolds this afternoon produced little, but a group of 13 Corn Buntings sat in a small tree at Searby Top just before sundown was notable. This general area has been a stronghold for Corn Buntings over the years but numbers do seem to have declined recently. Roy |
