Highlights of surveys yesterday were:- Little Egret, 1 in drain. Pink-footed Geese, 3 skeins over, c80 SE, 29 and c50 N. Marsh Harrier, 1 dark juvenile. Hen Harrier, 1 ringtail. Merlin, 1 female. Woodcock. 3 flushed from ditches/copses. Spotted Redshank, 1 in drain. Barn Owl, 2 hunting. Green Woodpecker, 1. Tree Sparrow, 3. |
