Dad had enough time to take me for a 50-minute visit this afternoon between 14:45 and 16:30.

SPECIES SEEN:

Barn Owl hunting over salt marsh :D :D :D

Black-tailed Godwit - 40, many close to cark park wire fence
Bar-tailed Godwit - several with Black-taileds
Turnstone - 1 near car park mixed in with Godwits
Dunlin - 2 again near car park fence
Redshank - many in various places
Golden Plover - circa 3000 in flocks on wetland
Oystercatcher - 3
Lapwing - circa 3000 scattered over reserve
Curlew - 30, mainly on wetland with 5 on lagoon islands
Sanderling - 10

Brent Goose - 2000 or so on wetland and lagoons
Canada Goose - 50
Greylag Goose - 10
Mute Swan - 2 juveniles
Black-headed Gull - 300
Herring Gull - 4

Mallard - 30
Wigeon - 300
Teal - 1 female
EDIT: Goldeneye - 2 female
Shelduck - 200
Pintail - 1 male on lagoon island with wigeon
Little Grebe - 15

Goldfinch - 30 in flock
Greenfinch - 2
Blue Tit - 5
Great Tit - 4
Robin - 6
Wren - 1
Mistle Thrush - 1
Blackbird - 3
House Sparrow - 2
Starling - 2 large flocks

Pheasants in fields on way
Magpie - 3
Collared Dove - usuals
Woodpigeon - usuals
Carrion Crow - 5
Jackdaw - few on way

1 Kestrel hunting near to A16 on way back
