Thank you for reporting your sighting of a colour ringed Herring Gull. Herring Gull with orange ring 1482 was ringed on the 17/06/2005 on Seamer Carr landfill, near Scarborough (TA038820) North Yorkshire, as a second year bird, with metal ring number GN13782. I have received no other sightings of this bird since it was ringed
Many thanks for reporting your sighting of colour-ringed Herring Gull red KVS. This bird was ringed as a chick in Suffolk in 2007 and was also seen at Kirby on Bain in 2009. Surprisingly few of our Suffolk Herring Gulls get seen in Lincolnshire but KVS obviously likes it there!
