| Post subject: | Gordon Priestley |
Gordon passed away recently and his funeral will take place on Tuesday 4th October at 2.30p.m. at Ewerby Church. Gordon has been a leading ringer in the county and is held in high esteem by his fellow ringers. He will be sadly missed. |

It is with great sadness, that we must announce the death of Gordon Priestley. Gordon has been a very active Lincolnshire birder and bird ringer for many many years, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. For his funeral the church in Ewerby was packed – standing room only – a testimony to Gordon’s life. Clearly he had touched many lives, and for those of us who attended, we were reminded, of his passion for birds, wildlife and the local countryside. Andrew |
