I submitted this info in May after a gent dropped off the ring at my house and got the result yesterday. This is a long time but better than some colour ringed gulls I've submitted which have never had a reply John 05 October 2012 Dear John Clarkson Thank you for taking the time to report to us details of a bird ring you found. Ringing Scheme: London Ring Number: GR07604 Species of bird: Tawny Owl This bird was ringed by A C Blackburn as age nestling, sex unknown on 16-Apr-2012 at West Field Farm, near Louth, Lincolnshire OS Map reference TF3486, co-ordinates 53deg 21min N 0deg 1min E. It was found on 11-May-2012 at Louth, Lincolnshire OS Map reference TF3486, co-ordinates 53deg 21min N 0deg 1min E. The bird was Dead Bird Found Remarks It was found 25 days after it was ringed, 0 km from the ringing site, direction ---. |
