Still a few Lesser Redpolls around today (21st April) in Bob Sheppard's garden in Bourne, but most Siskins seem to have now left. The last Siskin today was sporting a Swiss ring, which may be the first Siskin ringed in Switzerland to be controlled in the UK (one from there was found dead in 2003 in Hertfordshire) Alan |
