Just had some ringing details back for a Black-headed Gull I had at Cleethorpes on 18/7/03 and more recently 30/11/05. The bird was ringed at least 3 years of age on the outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark on 16/3/01 and has returned to Cleethorpes for at least its 3rd successive year. Here's the recovery highlights: 20/4/03 - Seen in Denmark 18/7/03 - Seen at Cleethorpes 29/3/04 to 5/5/04 - Seen on numerous occasions in Denmark 19/12/04 - Seen at Cleethorpes 30/11/05 - Seen at Cleethorpes Chris (PS - thanks to Bill Brooking for putting me on to the ringer) |
