A few Lesser Redpolls have returned to Bob Sheppard's garden at Bourne Wood during the last week. On Wednesday five were caught and the first two (3 ring numbers apart) had been ringed 3 winters ago in March 2011. It would be intersting to know if these have been together ever since. A Long-tailed Tit was alos recaptured having originally been ringed 6 years earlier. Alan |
