| Post subject: | Winter Chiff Chaff |
Marston Sewage Works produced another winter Chiff Chaff today 3rd winter running that we have caught them now. Also showing infrequently a white wagtail I assume it to be a pied as there are large numbers there each day. This bird had no dark feathers at all being totally white. Unfortunately he avoided the nets and I could not get good enough views to check the eye colour. I got a fleeting glimpse of him a week ago but could not be sure he was totally white. It would appear that he is a regular visitor but moves around and is not that easy to spot. Keith |
