Followed a stoat on North Heath Lane for 100m, just 10m ahead of me and the dog. It jumped up onto the parapet of the old railway bridge, at which point we stood still and watched it run up and down the stone capping for five minutes trying to decide whether to jump back onto the lane in front of us or take a death-defying leap down to the old track 4m below. Eventually it decided we were the safer option and took the lane towards the bridleway. Lovely sight, wish I had the camera. Good location here, plenty of rabbits!
