While stood near the level crossing I saw two deer [which I believe to be male Roe deer] going hell for leather from a northerly direction towards the road. When they reached it they went down into the dyke and then up and through the fence. They managed to get under and went like the wind across the field towards the rail line.

I'd be interested to know if anyone else has seen any there.

Hi Max

I have seen several Roe Deer in this area from Horkstow down to Worlaby. I Think they spend most of their time in the small woods that run along the Ancholme Valley.

Cheers

Russell

We have a small number of Red deer in this area, and of course occasional fallow, but roe are perhaps the most likely.
