Post subject: | Staggering Stoats! |
Found a stoat crouched on the roadside on the B1398 to the north of Burton (near Lincoln) this afternoon while out on me bike. It was obviously alive but as it let me approach to within a foot or so I thought it may have been hit by a car and was dazed, although there were no signs of any injuries. After a minute or so it staggered off the road and out of sight into a hedgerow in a slow twitchy gait (and occasionally falling over). I remember a similar occurence last week on a bridle path near Winterton where a stoat let me approach to within a few feet before moving off in a similar manner (and no car could have been involved). Anyone else seen any staggering stoats? Could it be poison? Spongiform encephalopathy? Myxy related? Or have they just started brewing their own beer? |

I've heard that these stoats are on Tennants Super, which explains EVERYTHING Dave |
