Might be of interest?
Just over Lincs border on road between Gainsborough and Gringley on the Hill, Notts.
Two mustelids, very much looking like polecats, as roadkills. Didn't have time to stop I'm afraid to check. Also muntjac and brown hare as roadkills nearby.
Cheers
Brian

I was driving on the A46 between Lincoln By-Pass and the Brown Cow, Nettleham at 11pm yesterday when a polecat/ferret crossed the road in front of the car. In view of the proximity to St. Giles it was probably an escapee.
