Had trap out in back garden here at Marton a couple times recently:

18 June 09
About 30 species noted including:
Elephant Hawk
Figure of Eighty
Large Yellow Underwing (1st of year)
Common Footman (1st of year)
Burnished Brass
Poplar Grey
Bee Moth
Grey Pug
Double Square-spot
Silver Y

20 June 09
About 40 species noted including
Bird's-wing (an annual species here).
Barred Yellow (what a stunning looking moth)
Barred Straw
Snout
Common Wainscot
Rustic
Uncertain
Dot Moth
Phlyctaeniaa coronata

Bordered White 1
Elephant Hawk 4
Barred Yellow 2
Drinker 1
Green Pug 1
Green Carpet 1
Marbled Minor type 10
Middle-barred Minor 3
Straw Dot 2
Sallow Kitten 1
Fan-foot 1
Smoky Wainscot 1
Grey Pug 1

Several species seem to be early this year for some reason. Recent warm weather?
