Marton 24 July 2009 Moth trap (15watt actinic) in garden overnight produced about 45 species including: White Satin Moth 1 (an annual species here recently) Brown-line Bright-eye 1 Shuttle-shaped Dart 1 Magpie Moth 1 Dusky Sallow 3 Poplar Hawk 1 Pebble Prominent 2 Silver Y 2 (plus 15 at flowers in evening) Buff-tip 1 Scalloped Oak 1 Marbled Beauty 1 Short-cloaked Moth 1 Plus wasps starting to appear in trap!
