It is a Free event for beginners on Saturday 8 August 15:00 - 18:00 then 20:00 onwards at Whisby Nature Reserve, Lincoln. An Introduction to moths and moth recording led by Jon Clifton. These workshops are designed to encourage a greater appreciation and enthusiasm for moths. Learn about their lives, habits and how and where to see them. There will be a live demonstration of light-trapping for moths in the evening. Places must be booked in advance via Laura Wiffen, the moths count project assistant, by email nmrs@butterfly-conservation.org or telephone 01929 406009.
